/ Visit Melbourne, it's a great city with a vibrant arts scene. It also has great food and great style within a laid back atmosphere. Well that's my bit for tourism.
2/ Be free and experiment. Always question how you can evolve, whether it be in life or art.
3/ Go for a long bike ride out of the city area, breathe in the fresh air and watch the trees sway in the breeze and the clouds make funny shapes. The concrete jungle can make you crazy.
4/ Eat lots of chocolate, the endorphin rush makes you melt.
5/ Never forget that PEOPLE come before money. So the next time you buy some major label clothes, give a thought to the sweat shop slave that made them for you. Better still boycott those companies.

When man invented the bicycle, he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. Progress should have stopped when man invented the bicycle.
Your past forms you, whether you like it or not. Each encounter and experience has its own effect, and you're shaped the way the wind shapes a mesquite tree on a plain.
I’d almost forgotten how to smoke. Doreen gave me a light with the console lighter and I nearly choked drawing the creamy smoke into my pink little lungs. The taste was bitter yet rich. Smoking was just like riding a bike---I quickly got the hang of it again. It felt good to kill off a few useless cells.
As the year draws to an end, I face a question that annually lurks in the back of my mind, (and I suspect in the minds of most entrepreneurs), "Do I have the energy and passion for another year?" Though someone from the outside might assume the answer is always, "Yes," people on the outside tend to glamorize the real work of leading a mission-driven company. I encounter so many job applicants drawn to Honest Tea because they want to change the way business is done -- organics, Fair Trade, healthier products, bikes for employees -- but then when they find out the way to make that all real is by walking in the rain lugging 50 pounds of heavy bottles or standing in the hot sun giving out samples, they find out they aren't quite as entrepreneurial as they thought they were. (Internally we say their "Kumbaya factor" isn't as big as their "Get it Done" factor.)
